Bangladesh Foreign Minister Visits India to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Bangladesh Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmood arrived in New Delhi last night on a three-day visit to India. He is Indian Foreign Minister S. Have come to India on Jaishankar’s invitation. Mr Mahmood will meet and hold talks with India’s External Affairs Minister Jaishankar. During this period, progress on broad topics of bilateral relations will be reviewed and an agenda for future programs will be prepared.

Earlier, the Ministry of External Affairs had said in a statement that this visit of the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh reflects the high importance attached to bilateral relations and the priority between the two countries. It also said that both the countries will exchange views on sub-regional, regional and issues of common interest. This is Mr Hassan Mahmood’s first foreign tour as Foreign Minister after the swearing in of the new government in his country.
