Retired Marine Commando Rescues Young Man From Drowning Into Canal
D S Negi, is a retired commando officer from the Indian Navy’s elite MARCOS unit. He rescued a young man from drowning in a canal of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. This heroism act of the commando is been praised all over the internet ones the accompanied video went viral.
The entire incident was caught on video and was shared on X, by Manan Bhatt, a Navy Veteran, by sharing the video he also tweeted, “Negi’s heroism embodies the unwavering commitment of a true Navy veteran. His selfless act compels us to reflect on our own social responsibilities and motivates is to be ever willing to serve our community and nation.”
Negi’s quick thinking and bravery were widely praised by all ,as he jumped without any hesitation to save young man’s life. The young man’s father was full of tears and very grateful for commando’s mindful act of saving his son without fear of one’s life.
Whole incident has been recorded in the shared video. It shows that the rescued man being carried from the ground and placed into a rickshaw for transportation to the hospital. The incident occurred in front of Gaur Green Vista Society, Negi saw that a young man was struggling in the water, crowd was gathered on the banks of canal but busy making video of the incident to help. Negi, without any second thought, took off his shirt and jumped into the drain to save the young man.
