Srinath University’s Induction Program “Srinath Shankhnaad” Inaugurated in Jamshedpur

Srinath University’s much-acclaimed induction programme ‘Srinath Shankhnaad was flagged off at the XLRI Auditorium, Jamshedpur to mark the start of the new session. The program was quite formal as it was attended and headed by some officials of government and administration.

The deputy commissioner of Jamshedpur, Mr. Ananya Mittal was the chief guest of the program, other special guests of the program were RTA Kolhan Mr. Dinesh Ranjan, MD JCPCL Mr. Ujjwal Chakraborty were present on the occasion. The program was initiated by the lighting of the lamp which was later accompanied by some speeches, and some cultural programs.

Mittal said the student life is full of fun yet it is crucial to stay disciplined, that set the mood for his speeches which focused on saying that students should stay focused. MD JCPCL Mr. Ujjwal Chakraborty stressed that students should develop competencies to increase the gap between industrial and academic sectors.

Another performance was held by a faculty member through presentation of Odissi dance which also elicited the reception from the audience. To give a brief of the programs and plans that would be in coming days, Academic Dean Dr. Deepak Shukla set up a special PPT to the students.

The Chancellor Mr. Sukhdev Mahato addressed the gathering by stressing on the need of induction and the facilities being offered by the University. Finally, on behalf of the Srinath College of Education, the programme was wound up by Mrs. Rachna Rashmi who is the Principal-in-charge.

This induction program was participated by the senior advisors, trustees, assistant professors and students from all departments of the university.
