Nidhi Malik pushes for timely completion of JJM schemes and better public service in Revenue Department.
REASI: In a move to speed up rural development, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Reasi, Nidhi Malik, held two high-level meetings today. The focus was on ensuring every household gets clean tap water and making land-related government services smoother for the public.
Focus on “Water for Every Home” During the review of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), the DDC took a detailed look at the ongoing water supply schemes. She directed the officers to speed up the work so that no village is left behind. She emphasized that the quality of work must be maintained and deadlines should be strictly followed to ensure people don’t face water shortages.
Improving Revenue Services In a separate meeting with the Revenue Department, Nidhi Malik checked the status of land record digitization and the issuance of certificates. She asked the Tehsildars to be more proactive in solving public grievances and ensuring that people get their documents without unnecessary delays.
