Jamshedpur: On August 7, 2024, a grand felicitation ceremony was held at the Mahal Inn Auditorium in the Azadnagar Police Station area to honor students who qualified in NEET UG, significantly boosting the pride of Jamshedpur. The event was organized by the Human Welfare Trust.

The Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Ananya Mittal, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Dr. Mateen Ahmed Khan from Laxmi Chandravanshi Medical College Palamu attended as the special guest, providing further guidance to the aspiring medical students. Human Welfare Trust President Mateenul Haq Ansari and Secretary Mukhtar Alam Khan welcomed the Deputy Commissioner with a bouquet and shawl. The Trust also honored Ananya Mittal with a memento for her commendable work in East Singhbhum.

The ceremony celebrated NEET UG topper Kahkasha Parveen and Swati Sharma, who secured the 17th rank in the UPSC All India examination. Other students honored for qualifying NEET UG included Aditya, Amit, Amit Pathak, Anika, Bhavika, Ghazia, Haika, Iffat, Zakka, Keshav, Manav, Mohammad Amir, Nabiha, Nishant, Rimsha, Rishab Gupta, Shreyashi, and Syed Nabeel. They were felicitated with bouquets and mementos.

Prominent attendees included Karim City College Secretary Dr. Mohammad Zakaria, Principal Dr. Mohammad Riyaz, Vivekanand International School Principal Dr. Nidhi Srivastava, Ahsen International School’s Archana Divedi, social worker Syed Manzar Amin, Jamaat-e-Ulema Hind’s Secretary Hafiz Anwar Alam, MO Academy’s Principal Sami Ahmed Khan, Adam Home’s Director Professor Laik ur Rehman Chaudhary, Govind Vidyalaya’s Razia Naushad Mohammad Qays, Rizwan Ahmed, Aurangabad Mumtaz Shariq Gurudwara Committee’s Sardar Gurcharan Singh, Apoorva Pal Mohammad Qasim, and Sanjay Sharma.

The event was a success thanks to the efforts of Human Welfare Trust’s Secretary Matinul Haq Ansari, Syed Asif, Akhtar, Mukhtar Alam Khan, Ehtesham-ur-Rahman, Asif Mahmood, Tahir Hussain, Moinuddin Ansari, Nadir Khan, and Aftab Alam. The program was conducted by Professor Zaki Akhtar of Karim City College.
