JAMSHEDPUR: A shocking case of fraud and breach of trust has come to light in Kowali, where a journalist, Zamir Azad Ansari, has lodged an online FIR against two local painters, Munna and his brother Chotu. The complaint alleges that the duo cheated Ansari out of ₹50,000, promising to paint his newly constructed building but failing to deliver on their commitments.
According to the FIR, Munna approached Ansari nearly four months ago, offering to paint his building for ₹85,000. Despite promising to complete the work within a month, Munna convinced Ansari to pay ₹50,000 in advance, which was transferred to their account. However, Munna and Chotu have since refused to complete the work, threatening Ansari and his family instead.

Ansari, a journalist with a national channel, fears for his family’s safety due to his minimal presence at home.
