Jamshedpur, September 15, 2024 – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a massive rally at Gopal Maidan, Jamshedpur, with the aim of overthrowing the Hemant Soren government. The rally, named Parivartan Maharally, saw a significant turnout of BJP leaders and supporters, all united in their resolve to bring about change in Jharkhand.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized his deep connection with Jharkhand, stating that the state resides in his heart. He highlighted the long road journey he undertook to meet the people of Jharkhand, showcasing his commitment to the state’s development.

Former Union Minister Arjun Munda criticized the Hemant Soren government for its alleged corruption and inefficiency. He claimed that the government had wasted five years looting and ruining Jharkhand. Munda asserted that the BJP is the only party capable of respecting and providing rights to the tribals of Jharkhand. He also criticized the government’s recent election scheme, suggesting it was a last-minute attempt to appease the public.

Former Chief Minister Champai Soren accused the Congress of neglecting the welfare of Jharkhand’s tribals. He praised former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for his role in making Jharkhand a separate state. Champai Soren also raised concerns about Bangladeshi infiltration in Santhal Pargana, claiming that only the BJP could address this issue and protect the rights of the tribals.

MP Vidyut Mahato expressed confidence that the Hemant Soren government’s “terror” would soon end. He stated that people from all walks of life, including youth, women, farmers, laborers, elderly, Dalits, tribals, and the backward society, felt cheated by the current government. Mahato emphasized that the people of Kolhan and Jharkhand had sounded the bugle for change through the Parivartan Maharally.

Former MP Geeta Koda managed the stage proceedings, ensuring the event ran smoothly.

The rally was attended by several prominent BJP leaders, including Jharkhand in-charge Laxmikant Bajpai, regional organization general secretary Nagendra Nath Tripathi, former Chief Minister Madhu Koda, Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth, Dr. Dineshanand Goswami, Shailendra Mahato, Abha Mahato, Geeta Koda, Bari Murmu, Maneka Sardar, Badkunwar Gagarai, Laxman Tudu, Anant Ram Tudu, Shashi Bhushan Samadd, Narayan Chandel, Bhavana Bohra, Gurucharan Nayak, Mangal Singh Soy, Arvind Singh, Jawahar Banra, JB Tubid, Nandji Prasad, Sudhanshu Ojha, Abhay Singh, Chandicharan Sao, Uday Singhdev, Sanju Pandey, Chami Murmu, Janum Singh Soy, Chhutni Mahato, Purnima Mahato, Jamuna Tudu, Babulal Soren, Devendra Singh, Mochiram Bauri, Bhushan Pingua, Geeta Balmuchu, Ajay Saha, Lakhan Mardi, Ramesh Hansda, and Ganesh Mahali.
