Bulandshahr Police Uncover Shocking Murder Case: Son Kills Father Over Land Dispute

Bulandshahr, 27 December 2024: In a shocking turn of events, the police in Bulandshahr have uncovered the murder of farmer Somveer, revealing that the perpetrator was none other than his own son, Amit Kumar. The incident took place in the village of Khusrupur, located in the Ahmedgarh area of Shikarpur, Bulandshahr district.

According to Bulandshahr’s SP Rural, Rohit Mishra, the middle-aged farmer Somveer was sleeping at his tubewell when he was brutally murdered by his son. The police grew suspicious of Amit Kumar and, upon strict interrogation, he confessed to the crime. Amit revealed that his father had been threatening to sell their land, which led him to fear losing his inheritance. In a fit of rage, Amit killed his father on Sunday night by striking him with a shovel.

What makes this case even more astonishing is that Amit, after committing the murder, actively participated in the search for the supposed murderer and even filed a written complaint at the police station, shedding crocodile tears to mislead the authorities.

The police have arrested Amit Kumar, and the investigation is ongoing. This gruesome incident has left the village of Khusrupur in shock, with residents struggling to come to terms with the betrayal and violence within the family.
