President Draupadi Murmu arrived in Auckland this evening after successful bilateral meetings in Wellington during which a customs cooperation arrangement was signed and New Zealand endorsed the International Solar Alliance Agreement.

Earlier in the day, a state banquet was hosted at Government House in honour of President Draupadi Murmu. The banquet was attended by a number of dignitaries, including New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and eminent representatives of the Indian community. Governor General Dame Cindy Kiro praised President Murmu for her commitment and initiatives to uplift all sections of society. At the event, President Murmu said that bilateral relations have reached a new high, marked by high-level contacts and growing engagement in various fields.
