Gopalganj, Bihar: In a daring daylight heist on Wednesday, seven armed robbers on four motorcycles looted a jewelry shop owned by Raju Soni in Dharmparsa Bazaar, under the Manjha police station area. The robbers made off with jewels worth approximately ₹10 lakh and fired shots in the air while fleeing the scene. As soon as the incident was reported, Superintendent of Police Awadhesh Dixit rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation. Saran Range DIG Neelesh Kumar also visited the crime scene and shared details, saying, “Seven criminals on four bikes stormed the shop and looted jewels worth around ₹10 lakh. They fired shots in the air while escaping.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV, providing crucial leads. We will soon apprehend the culprits.” The police have intensified searches across the area and increased surveillance in bordering regions. The robbery has created panic among local shopkeepers and residents, who are demanding swift action from the authorities.
