The TDP chief, on a two-day visit to New Delhi, also held discussions with Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Piyush Goyal on state-specific issues. Sources indicate that Naidu is scheduled to meet other Union ministers, including Amit Shah, Nirmala Sitharaman, and J P Nadda, during his visit.
Naidu’s Delhi visit is seen as vital for securing Central support for Andhra Pradesh’s development following its bifurcation in 2014. The state is seeking support for various projects and initiatives, including infrastructure development and financial assistance.
